PLANETS
This lesson looks at the inner and outer planets of the solar system and gives students who have previously been exposed to the topic an opportunity to expand their knowledge while also bringing the topic into a new view for those who have yet to learn about it.
LESSON
Students will work to examine the scholastic webpage provided by looking at inner and outer planets.
After some time has past, students will complete the test on the webpage to find out their knowledge score.
Students can then pick 1 inner and 1 outer planet.
They will then decide how they want to present their planets to the class (parents, siblings) touching on main points like, what the planets are made of, how close they are to the sun, Do they have any similarities to earth and so on.
Their presentations will be no longer than 5 minutes per planet.
