WEEK LONG ACTIVITY

Your View of Space

The culminating task is an Earth Dwellers Journal.

This journal will be written in each night (homework) for the students to describe their view of the moon at night. They can also draw in their journal or express their observations in any understandable way due to the fact that art is considered an important form of expression in Mi’kmaw culture.

This will help students take responsibility for their learning as well as be able to think about ways in which other people may view the sky and moon differently depending on the time of day they record it and their position on earth.
